Automotive Body Electronic Control System

2026/3/13 17:41:41

Modern automotive body electronics have evolved from fragmented, standalone ECUs to a highly integrated "Damian Control" architecture. This approach consolidates previously isolated functions-such as windows, lights, door locks, and HVAC-into a few domain controllers, enabling seamless collaboration via high-speed networks like CAN/LIN and Ethernet. The result is reduced wiring complexity, lighter weight, and advanced smart features such as "auto lighting on return" and "keyless entry."

The core components revolve around three key stages: Sense → Decide → Act, including:

Sensing Layer (Sensors): Collects internal and external vehicle data, such as button inputs, temperature, and position.

Decision Layer (MCU/SoC): Acts as the system's "brain," processing signals and making real-time decisions.

Actuation Layer (Actuators): Converts decisions into physical actions, such as motor control and relay switching.

Communication Layer: Ensures efficient and reliable data exchange between modules.
